Our mission is to be the place where the love of God’s Word and the love of people meet. 

Open Bible Baptist Church has been serving Aylmer and the surrounding communities for over 40 years. Our first meetings took place in 1977 when two small congregations came together in the Aylmer area after realizing they were of like faith and practice in living for the Lord and reaching people with the gospel.

Many churches are forsaking Biblical truth and many church leaders are focusing on man-centered evangelism and church growth methods. Sunday services have become concerts and stage productions. The results of these trends are that many people in churches remain essentially untaught. The pulpit is being replaced by the platform and people are truly hungry for the Word of God. At Open Bible we are committed to expository preaching and interactive teaching. We are committed to Christ-centered and Word-centered ministries. We do not believe in issue-driven, or watered-down preaching. We believe that the Word of God is fully sufficient to meet the needs of today and that it was given to us to be our sole authority of faith and practice.
